Brey’s Egg Farm is located in Bethel, NY of Sullivan County, a mere 100 miles from New York City. We are a fourth generation family run farm that produces eggs, compost, topsoil, beef, hay, and poultry manure. Our eggs are distributed to New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. Visitors and locals can purchase eggs from the farm on Wednesdays or from local Sullivan County businesses.
Farm Maintenance Mechanic
We are seeking a Ful Time skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within our facility. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks: including inspecting, lubricating, & cleaning equipment
Troubleshoot & diagnose mechanical issues, making necessary repairs
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment
Maintain accurate records of maintenance
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role 2 years
Knowledge of basic computer skills
Knowledge of electrical work
Mechanical knowledge
Ability to work independently & prioritize tasks effectively
Must be within 1 hour of Jeffersonville, NY
Can not own or be around any type of birds
This would be a six-day work week. Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00 Saturday 7:30-12:00
Expected hours 40- 50 per week
Salary $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
